Some popular places where you can use free WiFi in Düsseldorf are the Rhine promenade, the Königsallee shopping area, the Old Town and sometimes other public places. You can also find WiFi in cafés, restaurants and even on public transport.Be aware that speeds and reliability can vary, and sometimes it is not the most trustworthy connection. - O2 Germany (Telefónica): Often the most budget-friendly option with decent coverage and good data plans.
- Lycamobile and Lebara: Popular among international travellers because of their low rates for international calls.
- Look for tariffs with sufficient data volume, especially if you need to stay connected for work, navigation, or social media.
- Most tariffs include a certain number of national calls and text messages. If you want to make calls abroad, check for special international tariffs and offers.
- Pay attention to the validity period of the prepaid offers. Some of these tariffs are valid for 30 days or 4 weeks, while others might offer different durations.
