The Main Venue

The Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf is located directly at Düsseldorf airport (DUS).

Address: Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf, Maritim-Platz 1, 40474 Düsseldorf, Germany (Google Maps)
Phone: national 0800 33 83 211, international +49 211 5209-0

We hope to put some photos on this page – for now please visit Maritim images.

A pedestrian bridge connects the hotel with Terminal C, and the hotel is conveniently accessible through the highways (“Autobahnen”) A44, A52 and A3. Downtown Düsseldorf is just a few S-Bahn stops away. Düsseldorf's main railway station is connected via S-Bahn line S11.

By Plane

You want to fly into Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

Attention: Make sure to fly to Düsseldorf Airport (“Flughafen Düsseldorf”) with the airport code DUS and not the Airport “Niederrhein” that is sometimes shown as Airport “Düsseldorf Niederrhein” with the airport code NRN.

On the Düsseldorf Airport website, you can find information on flights, services, and further passenger information.

An Airport Map as PDF is online too.

Once you have passed through security and customs, you will be on level 0. The best way to reach the hotel is to take the exit near the REWE supermarket on level 1 in Pier C, and then follow the covered pedestrian bridge/pathway.

Here you can get a glimpse of how this will look on Google Street View (in slightly cloudy weather).

By Plane via Frankfurt

You might want to consider flying to Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and taking the train from there to Düsseldorf Main Station.

This option may offer you a wider choice of possible flights, or cheaper ones. In addition, we intend to offer a pre or post tour that passes by Frankfurt Airport saving you one train ride.

If you are considering this option, you want to check whether you can book the train ticket when booking your flight so that you don't have to worry about that ticket upon arrival.

By Train

The best option is to take the train to Düsseldorf Airport station (not the normal Düsseldorf main station) and from there take the Skytrain of Düsseldorf Airport to get to Pier C.

If you take a train to Düsseldorf main station (“Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof”) you can either grab a taxi (costs approximately 25€) or take the S-Bahn line S11 to Düsseldorf Airport. Alternatively you can take the S-Bahn S1, or a regional train to Düsseldort Airport railway station ("Düsseldorf Flughafen") and from there the Skytrain as detailed above.

By Bus

Düsseldorf can be reached by modern coaches from various European cities. Numerous routes currently connect around 132 destinations to Düsseldorf. The new, central long-distance coach station with comfortable waiting areas for travellers is located on Worringer Straße right next to the main railway station. Check the train chapter above on how to get to the venue from there.

A bus stop at the Düsseldorf Airport train station exists as well, but not all lines will stop there.

By Car

You can reach the hotel by car via the A44 highway. Take the exit “Flughafen Düsseldorf”. Continue in the direction of “Ankunft” (Arrival) and follow the signs to “Airport City”. The Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf is directly in front of you.

The Maritim Hotel has some parking – at a price! Charging stations for electric cars are also available.

An alternative to think about, and perhaps even quite a bit cheaper. is to park at the Düsseldorf Airport as offered by Parkos.com or by Düsseldorf Airport, which is a short walk to the hotel.
