A pre-tour in northern Germany with seven overnight stays - the transport and the hotels are included in the price of this event. If needed transfer from Düsseldorf to Frankfurt can be arranged at an extra charge.

- After your arrival Frankfurt embark on a short city tour, taking in iconic landmarks like the Römerberg and the Main River. Afterwards we travel to Hamburg and check into our hotel. Enjoy a leisurely dinner at your hotel or maybe somewhere at the famous “Speicherstadt”?

- Guided city tour Hamburg in the morning, this also can be combined with a tour through the container port. As an alternative or second option we suggest a harbour tour on one of the harbour barge ships through one of the biggest container ports in the world. Accommodation in Hamburg.

- Leave Hamburg and proceed to Berlin. On your way we suggest a stop in Schwerin, where you could visit the castle Schwerin, a fairytale castle, picturesque located on an island of the Lake Schwerin. Proceed to Berlin. Accommodation in Berlin.

- In the morning your guide awaits you for a city tour of Germanys capital. You will visit some of the most important sights such Alexanderplatz, Berlin`s most famous square with the World Time Clock and the Fernsehturm (TV tower) Alex, Berlin Cathedral, the medieval quarter Nikolaiviertel. The world heritage site "Museum Island" unites five important museum buildings into a harmonic ensemble on the river Spree. See the legendary Checkpoint Charlie, the (un)famous former border crossing point between East and West Berlin. In the afternoon you could visit the German Reichstag, seat of the German government, do a ride on the river Spree, visit one of Berlins numerous museums (for example Humboldt forum, Berlin wall memorial, Jewish museum) or do a guided tour of the bunkers from the second world war/ cold war. - Proceed to Dresden where you meet your tour guide for a city tour in so-called “Florence on the Elbe”. Amongst others you can see the world-famous Frauenkirche church, the symbol of Dresden, the Zwinger, a most perfect example of late Baroque architecture in Germany. The Semper Opera House, one of the most beautiful opera buildings in the world and the Royal Palace, which used to be the centre of power of Saxon sovereigns are worth a visit. The richly decorated cathedral or the Brühl Terrace, a former rampart also known as “the balcony of Europe” are must sees of this beautiful city. Accommodation in Dresden.

- Day excursion to “Elbsandsteingebirge”, visit the Pillnitz Castle, the most important Chinoisery castle complex in Europe or the castle “Festung Königsstein” We also could arrange a tour on the Elbe river on a paddle wheel steamship. Accommodation in Dresden.

- Proceed to Leipzig, the oldest city of fairs: during a guided tour you see the opera house, with its 300-year history. Gohlis Palace is one of the most picturesque places in Leipzig. The Schiller House, Old Fair Ground, Monument to the Battle of the Nations, Russian Memorial Church and the German national Library are some of various interesting sites to visit in the cahrming city. - Leave Leipzig and proceed to Western direction to Düsseldorf. If you would like we could arrange a lunch on the route maybe around Kassel or Goettingen. Arrival in Duesseldorf.
