In the early morning you set off to a full-day excursion to the Royal Palace of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. This famous “fairytale castle” of Kind Ludwig II was built from 1868 onwards and nowadays belongs to the most popular castles and palaces in Europe with over one million visitors per year. After your visit of castle Neuschwanstein optionally you can visit Linderhof Palace. Two other proposals for a stop on the route are Oberammergau which is famous for its Passion Plays, its woodcarvers, and the NATO School. Or do you prefer Kloster Ettal, a Benedictine abbey with an impressive basilica, where the monks still brew own beer - tasting possible and recommended ;-)? Full day excursion Black Forrest, visit the Triberger Waterfalls or Titisee Neustadt. Enjoy a panoramic ride along the road “Schwarzwaldhochstraße” and optionally you can experience what the Black Forest used to be like at the Black Forest Open-Air Museum Vogtsbauernhof. Today you travel to Heidelberg. We suggest a stop in Speyer to see the historical cathedral “Kaiserdom”, another UNESCO World Heritage site or to visit the Technik Museum. After arrival Heidelberg you will have a guided tour to see the historical center of Heidelberg including for example the Old Bridge, the old university assembly hall, the stables, the town hall etc. or enjoy a vine tasting along the German vine street “Deutsche Weinstraße maybe in Deidesheim or Bad Dürkheim.
